Burkett Golf Outing Raises Record $45K
It’s the largest amount raised directly through the annual event, which benefits the National MS Society.
Burkett Restaurant Equipment & Supplies announced that the Mike Burkett Memorial Golf Outing raised a record $45,000 to support the National MS Society.
The outing took place at the Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg, Ohio. Customers, manufacturers, reps, community partners and Burkett employees from across the country came together for the event, which serves as a memorial fundraiser for company founder Mike Burkett, who lived with multiple sclerosis for more than 30 years.
“Each year, this event reminds us how many people are willing to come together and make a difference for a cause that means so much to our family and our company,” says Jameel Burkett, president and CEO of Burkett Restaurant Equipment & Supplies, in the release. “Raising a record $45,000 is something everyone involved should be proud of. What started as a way to honor my father continues to grow into something that can make a meaningful difference for people and families affected by MS.”
