Cava has opened its first unit in the Hoosier state.

Today, March 14, the Mediterranean fast-casual brand opened a store in Fishers, Ind., near Indianapolis. It measures 3,000 square feet, seats 40 guests and offers digital order pickup and delivery.

Cava now operates in 26 states and Washington, D.C. It aims to have 1,000 locations by 2032. In its 2024 fiscal year, it opened 58 net new restaurants and expects at least 17% growth in 2025. As part of its expansion into the Midwest, Cava also plans to open a second Indianapolis urban location later this year.

“We look forward to welcoming the Hoosiers community to our table as we continue delivering on our mission of bringing heart, health and humanity to food,” says Brett Schulman, co-founder and CEO of Cava, in the release.

Cava serves Mediterranean-inspired bowls, pitas, dips and dressings and is based in Washington, D.C.
