Better Buzz Coffee Roasters has plans for record growth this year.

The coffee concept, which also serves made-to-order food items and pastries, started out in 2002. It has 24 locations, 12 of which opened in the past two years, all in California, except for a unit in Uptown Phoenix, which opened this year.

Now, the brand aims to double its store count to 48 by year’s end with a focus on the western U.S.

“While we’re thrilled with our progress so far, we’re even more excited about our rapid growth for the rest of the year,” says Better Buzz’s Vice President of Marketing Amanda Cameron. She adds that the goal is to expand north in Southern California with a concentration on the Los Angeles area to San Diego, as well as grow in Arizona and Nevada.
