Today, Dave’s Hot Chicken shared a snapshot of where it’s headed.

In early 2024, the quick-growing chain was represented at FER’s Multiunit Foodservice Equipment Symposium, where Vice President of Design and Construction Tiffany Vassos participated in a panel about efficiently growing unit count, and the brand’s trajectory has only climbed since then.

This March, it opened its 200th restaurant in Texas. Now, Dave’s Hot Chicken says it will start Q3 with a 1,000-plus unit pipeline. By the end of this year, it is on track to open 260 locations, including 14 that opened in Q1.

Among the growth plans are new destinations, including its first restaurant in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, in partnership with NBA veteran Kris Humphries, and soon, the first Dave’s Hot Chicken in Vermont. Other recent multiunit deals target areas including Atlanta, St. Louis, Chicagoland and Ohio.

The chain also recently announced it would debut in London by Q1 2025.
