Easy Ice Grows on West, East Coasts

The ice machine rental company continues to expand, kicking off October with two acquisitions.

EasyIce

Easy Ice, which provides commercial ice machine rentals, started October with two acquisition announcements.

On the West Coast, Easy Ice purchased the ice machine service and leasing division of Norm’s Refrigeration & Ice Equipment in Anaheim, Calif. Norm’s has been operating in Southern California since 1957. It has many ice machine service and lease customers in the Los Angeles area, and these operations will fit into Easy Ice’s rapidly expanding Southern California footprint—aligning with the company’s goals for the market, the release says.

In Harrisburg, Pa., Easy Ice has taken over the ice machine leasing operations of Credential Leasing & Finance, which has been in business since 1960. Meanwhile, Credential will continue to lease other types of equipment to its customers. Daren Boruff, chief acquisitions officer at Easy Ice, says integrating Credential’s operations into Easy Ice’s will allow it to significantly expand its reach.

Prior to these two acquisitions, Easy Ice picked up Illinois’ High Standard Icemakers, which was its eighth acquisition in 2024.
