In Q1 of next year, Electrolux Professional Group expects to acquire the assets of Royal Range. A purchase price was not disclosed.

The California-based manufacturer, founded in 1995, makes ranges, ovens, fryers and countertop cooking appliances.

“The business from Royal Range provides a strategically important addition to our existing cooking platform in the U.S.,” says Bo Erickson, president of business area food Americas, Electrolux Professional, in the Nov. 11 announcement. “It combines and expands our product offering with new product categories in a positive and synergistic way. By utilizing the strong sales force of Electrolux Professional, we should be able to significantly expand sales of the products from Royal Range.”

Royal Range has approximately 40 employees, and is based with one factory in Eastvale, Calif.

Electrolux Professional Group’s portfolio includes brands such as Avtec, Randell, Power Soak, Groen and more.
