Family-Owned NY Rep Group Debuts New Name

With roots winding all the way back to 1927, New York-based Kaufmann and Associates has seen plenty of business changes over the years. Now, it’s making a fresh start, rebranding to Succession Reps.

Adam Kaufmann, managing partner of the rep group, says they are proud to announce the new name “in honor of the three generations that have served and currently serve our wonderfully dynamic industry, and in celebration of the newest fourth generation with Bradley and Daniel Kaufmann” (both on the administration team).

Mark Kaufmann, Adam’s partner and brother, adds that the new name aligns with a “commitment to enhanced communication, process improvements and increased proactiveness to ensure successful growth for ourselves and industry partners.”

To assist with Succession’s growth strategy, Mike Purcell, formerly VP at LTI, has been appointed to an advisory position on Succession’s newly formed board of directors. Purcell says he’s excited to help with strategic planning as the group grows its personnel and territory alike.
