Freddy’s Adds 30-Plus Stores To Pipeline
After 62 store openings in 2023, the brand signs several franchise development agreements.

Fast-casual restaurant concept Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers announced the signing of several multiunit development agreements. The deals will bring more than 30 new restaurants to New Mexico, Texas, Idaho, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arizona.
The announcement follows a historic year of development for Freddy’s, as it opened 62 new restaurants across the nation, including its 500th location.
With over 130 locations in development for 2024, Freddy’s aims for 800 operating restaurants by 2026. Founded in Wichita, Kan., in 2002, the brand offers cooked-to-order steakburgers, all-beef hot dogs, shoestring fries and freshly churned frozen custard treats.
