Fuzzy’s Taco Shop To Expand in Arizona, Texas

Recent development agreements will lead to 40 new restaurants over the next eight years.

Fast-casual concept Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has signed two multiunit development agreements to mark the brand’s expansion throughout Arizona and Texas. The deals will bring 40 new restaurants to market over the next eight years. Here are the details for each state:

Arizona: Established Fuzzy’s franchisee, Marc Rogers, of Rogers Restaurant Group, will bring 15 new restaurants to Arizona, including the Phoenix area, by 2032. Rogers Restaurant Group opened its first Fuzzy’s in Fort Collins, Colo., in 2011, and today owns and/or operates 16 Fuzzy’s restaurants throughout Colorado.

Texas: Hnreck Nazarian, of Nazarian Global Enterprises, will become the newest Fuzzy’s franchisee and open 25 new restaurants over the next seven years throughout the Houston market. A multiunit restaurant operator with 23 IHOP restaurants, NGE has been an IHOP franchisee since 2001, owning its first IHOP restaurant in Houston.

Overall, Fuzzy’s has nearly 130 locations in 18 states. In 2022, it joined Dine Brands, which also includes Applebee’s and IHOP.
