Earlier this month, Bloomington, Minn.-based General Parts acquired Des Moines, Iowa-based Goodwin Tucker.

Now, with both companies as part of the Unlimited Service Group, General Parts says the acquisition “strengthens our collective mission to deliver best-in-class service through superior technical skill and innovative technology.”

“With over 80 years of providing installation, repair and planned maintenance programs for thousands of restaurants, hotels, hospitals, school districts and universities in Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska, Goodwin Tucker’s outstanding reputation is a testament to their dedication and expertise, and we’re honored to welcome them to our team,” General Parts wrote in an Aug. 2 social media post.

In other news, General Parts recently opened a new commercial kitchen equipment training center. General Parts provides commercial kitchen equipment repair, specializing in foodservice equipment, commercial appliances, and all commercial refrigeration and HVAC for over 60,000 customers and 400 manufacturers.
