This month, Bloomington, Minn.-based General Parts Group opened a new commercial kitchen equipment training center that it’s calling “Training Unlimited.”

The center will host an eight-week, hands-on course—melding field experience and classroom training—for its new hires. There, service technicians can learn skills in electric, gas, and steam commercial kitchen maintenance and repair, says General Parts.

General Parts, which has 30 locations across multiple states, also has company training centers in Denver, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Phoenix and Portland, Ore. The company provides commercial kitchen equipment repair, specializing in foodservice equipment, commercial appliances, and all commercial refrigeration and HVAC for over 60,000 customers and 400 manufacturers.
