In Q1, Iced Tea Chain Grows

The brand, which reached its 100-unit milestone early last year, grew in three states while also upping its digital presence.

A new unit in Webb City, Mo., was one of seven units to open in the first quarter of the year.

HTeaO shared a snapshot of its year thus far, which included seven new units—five of which are in its home state of Texas. One additional unit in Webb City, Mo. and another in Lexington, Tenn., round out its Q1 openings.

As the iced tea chain continues to scale, it says it is focused not only on physical growth but also on digital transformation and meaningful brand partnerships. In the former realm, the chain recently unveiled a new technology suite designed to elevate the guest experience and streamline operations. It includes a custom-built mobile app, an integrated loyalty and gift card program, and a fully redesigned website.

In February, the brand launched an LTO lineup of three beverages in collaboration with a Texas-based prebiotic soda brand and in March, it hired a VP of supply chain.

“We couldn’t have asked for a stronger start to 2025,” says Shane Clark, chief development officer of HTeaO. “With seven new store openings and exciting innovations already in motion, we’re building serious momentum. Our teams and franchise partners continue to exceed expectations, and we’re confident this year will be one of our most impactful and profitable yet.”
