Inspire Brands Delights in Growth Milestone
Baskin-Robbins' recently opened store in Andheri, Mumbai, joins a sizable batch in one of the chain’s largest global markets.
Baskin-Robbins is stacking up units worldwide, having opened its 1,000th location in India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation last week.
The brand first debuted in the Indian market in 1993 with Graviss Foods, its master franchisee in India and the SAARC region.
Since then, the chain has worked to cater to the local clientele. “From introducing new flavors and formats to expanding its retail footprint, Baskin-Robbins’ ability to adapt to local market conditions and consumer preferences has been instrumental in its success,” details a company release. Some popular, locally inspired flavors include Glub Jamun, Caramel Milkcake and Rabdi Jalebi.
“As India continues its march towards becoming one of the world’s leading economies, Baskin-Robbins is committed to being a part of this journey, contributing to the economy, creating jobs, and delivering happiness to consumers through continuing innovation in our products and services,” says Graviss Foods Managing Director Vikram Seth.
