Pure Green Grows Talent, Development Pipeline
The concept spans 25 states, with recent expansion efforts focused on the West Coast.

Sunrise, Fla.-based Pure Green is on pace to reach 100 units by early 2026.
In six months, the chain—which offers fresh-made smoothies, acai bowls, cold-press juices and wellness shots—has grown from 43 to 70 units, and a press release says it will open three to five new stores a month through the end of the year.
Aiding in its growth mission is the hire of Richard Imbimbo as its director of operations. Imbimbo, who joined the brand in May, has over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, spanning full-service, fast-casual and QSR concepts.
At Pure Green, he will oversee new store openings, serve as a point of contact for franchisees, and act as a liaison between the field and the corporate team. Imbimbo also will develop and implement standard operation procedures and training programs, plus lead implementation of inventory management systems and third-party vendor integrations, says the brand.
The brand also recently hired a new technology manager to lead digital advancements systemwide.
Pure Green was founded in New York City in 2014 and initially was concentrated on the East Coast. This year, the brand opened its first California location in Carlsbad; it continues to plot growth across the Golden State and beyond.
“This is the strongest growth period in our brand’s history—and it’s not by chance,” says Pure Green Founder and CEO Ross Franklin. “We’re listening closely to what our guests and franchise partners want and delivering innovation with purpose. Whether it’s our science-backed product development, loyalty technology or community partnerships, everything we do supports our mission to inspire healthier communities.”
