Parts Town is looking to fuel growth through recapitalization. The distributor of OEM foodservice parts announced today that Leonard Green & Partners, a Los Angeles-based growth investment firm, made a “significant” investment in the company.

Parts Town’s existing investor, Berkshire Partners, will retain its majority stake in the company and reinvest alongside the Parts Town management team and Leonard Green.

According to Parts Town, these investments will accelerate innovation across its supply chain, distribution and e-commerce operations and support the company’s international expansion and vision to extend into other parts categories, including residential appliance parts, HVAC parts and laundry parts.

“We are thrilled that Berkshire Partners has reinvested in Parts Town and will continue to partner with us for years to come. We are also incredibly excited to welcome Leonard Green and Partners to the team. We have huge growth ambitions, and the combination of Berkshire and Leonard Green positions us to rapidly scale and further differentiate,” says Steve Snower, CEO of Parts Town, in a press release.
