Smart Care is on a hot streak, having just announced its second acquisition of 2025—and all in a week’s time.

The newest deal, closed July 1, is the addition of Lubbock, Texas-based HiTech of Texas: a service, installation and equipment sales company for commercial foodservice and food production equipment.

Adding HiTech increases Smart Care’s operational density and expands its capabilities in the West Texas market.

HiTech represents Smart Care’s 14th acquisition overall since partnering with Wind Point.

Managing Director at Wind Point, Konrad Salaber, stated, “Scaling abilities in key markets is a clear win for Smart Care and its customers. This acquisition aligns with our growth and value creation strategy and expands our local and national serviceable footprint.”
