Twosome Place, a South Korean cafe brand, will make its U.S. debut next month with a store opening in Alexandria, Va.

Twosome Place opened its first store in Seoul in 2002 and has grown to more than 1,750 locations.

“Our debut in the Washington region is an important milestone for Twosome Place as we look ahead to future growth in the U.S.,” says Jay (Young Joo) Moon, CEO of Twosome Place Korea, in the release.

The first U.S. cafe will offer the brand’s signature cakes, available whole and by the slice, including Strawberry Chocolate Cream Cake and Ice Box Cake. Along with classic espresso beverages, Twosome Place will introduce Korean-inspired items developed for the U.S. market. The beverages include the Dalgona Cream Top, Black Sesame Latte, Misugaru Frappe and Korean Apple Cinnamon Tea. An all-day menu will feature K-Toast with Bulgogi and egg, K-Chicken Panini, and Bibimbowl.

The Alexandria cafe will be located at 404 King Street, measure about 2,604 square feet and feature 78 seats including outdoor seating. Additional U.S. locations are planned as Twosome Place continues its expansion, with two locations set to open soon.
