The more than 77,000-square-foot expansion will give the dealership space to distribute heavy foodservice equipment. Previously, the center offered smallwares only.

Wasserstrom will soon have the capability of distributing heavy foodservice equipment at its Phoenix distribution center following an expansion. Previously, the center was for smallwares only.

The expansion measures 77,730 square feet and will help Wasserstrom optimize supply chains and reduce delivery times for customers across the southwest and coastal regions by providing an additional shipping point for equipment, it details in a July 28 post.

Wasserstrom will occupy 41,200 square feet of the newly constructed space to house inventory and manage the technical logistics of large-scale equipment distribution. It will lease the remaining space to commercial tenants until it grows into that space as well.

“This logistics hub is built to scale alongside the changing demands of the foodservice market,” the dealership states. “It positions us to absorb future volume increases and adapt to changing industry requirements, establishing a foundation for sustained growth.”
