The Wendy’s Co. is on its way to reaching its goal of 2,000 international restaurants by 2028.

This week, the company announced it has signed two franchise agreements that will add up to 190 stores across Italy and Armenia.

In Italy, Wendy’s will partner with Your Food S.R.L to develop 170 restaurants through 2035. The first two restaurants will open mid-year 2026 in Milan.

Wen Restaurant will develop 20 stores in Armenia through 2030. The first location is expected to open in Yerevan’s city center.

“These agreements are yet another example of the success of our accelerated growth strategy,” says E.J. Wunsch, president, international at Wendy’s, in the release. “With each new partnership, our momentum increases.”

In March, the company celebrated the opening of its 500th store in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region.
