With Acquisition, Kappus Co. Grows Offerings

Additional reach within Pennsylvania marks another benefit of the distributor's newly closed deal.

This past Monday, May 6, Cleveland-based distributor Kappus Co. completed its acquisition of the assets and operations of North Huntingdon, Pa.-based Kreiser Distributing Co.

Kappus Co. is a family-owned provider of commercial foodservice equipment, parts and service for customers across Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana and Kentucky. With the addition of Kreiser Distributing, Kappus says it aims to extend its reach, enrich its service offerings, and better cater to evolving customer demands.

“We are proud to join forces with Kappus, as they align closely with our mission and core values,” states Del Kreiser, the retiring president of Kreiser Distributing Co., in a release. “Kreiser Distributing customers will benefit greatly from Kappus’ shared view on service excellence and delivering excellent customer value.”
