Tuxton Appoints Alice Tam as President
Tam has served Tuxton for nearly 20 years and is a member of the third generation of family leadership.
Tuxton, a manufacturer of dinnerware and foodservice solutions, has named Alice Tam as president, effective this March. Tam has served Tuxton for nearly 20 years and is a member of the third generation of family leadership. She brings to the role deep institutional knowledge spanning product development, operations, customer relationships and long-term strategic planning.
“Alice’s leadership, operational insight, and commitment to our customers make her uniquely qualified to lead Tuxton into its next chapter,” says Tuxton in the release. “Her understanding of the business from the inside out reflects the values that have defined Tuxton for generations.”
Tuxton also thanked Michael Byrne, who served as interim president. Byrne will continue to play a key role at the manufacturer, with a renewed focus on advancing its nearshoring manufacturing and sourcing initiatives.
Earlier this year, Tuxton announced a new vice president of sales and senior vice president of business development.
