Moe’s Southwest Grill Makes Room for a Minnesota First
The brand says the soon-to-open unit is 'an important milestone in (its) regional expansion.'
Moe’s Southwest Grill will open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota on Sept. 4.
The new 2,605-square-foot store, located at 6671 Valley Creek Road in Woodbury, joins a nontraditional Moe’s at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, roughly 20 miles away.
“The Twin Cities area represents a dynamic, growing market with a strong appreciation for quality, customizable dining experiences, making it a natural fit for Moe’s,” says Tatiana Lambert, chief development officer at GoTo Foods. “As our first traditional restaurant in the market, this opening marks an important step in our growth strategy and reflects the continued demand we’re seeing for fresh flavors, convenience and hospitality-driven brands. We’re excited to introduce more guests to the Moe’s experience and build a lasting presence in the region.”
Moe’s Woodbury will be owned and operated by Twin Cities resident Satnam Dhillon, who first discovered the brand while traveling for work. Dhillon ultimately plans to open a second location in Apple Valley, Minn.
Moe’s, based in Atlanta, Ga., offers a menu of bowls, burritos, quesadillas, nachos and stacks. As of June 28, the brand (part of GoTo Foods) had over 540 locations in 35 states and across two countries and territories.
