Freddy’s Adds 2 to Development Bench
Rafik Farouk is now vice president of business development, and Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise sales.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has added two executives to its development bench: Rafik Farouk has joined as vice president of business development, and Jackie Lobdell has taken the role of vice president of franchise sales.
In his role, Farouk will help drive Freddy’s expansion across new and existing markets. He has nearly 30 years of experience leading restaurant operations and franchise development strategies, with a focus on global growth. His LinkedIn profile points to time spent at P.F. Chang’s and Bloomin’ Brands.
Meanwhile, Lobdell will focus on identifying prospective franchisees and guiding them through Freddy’s process as it expands its footprint. She has a 10-year background in franchise development within the restaurant sector, as well as advertising and marketing experience.
Freddy’s, which came under new ownership in 2025, has more than 580 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Earlier this month, it opened its first U.S. military base location.
