Welbilt Promotes Longtime Employee

Welbilt, an Ali Group company, has promoted Andrew Spero to vice president, strategic accounts, global chains, effective Aug. 30.

Spero will report to Jim Courtright, senior vice president of sales, Welbilt Americas, and will partner closely with Slaven Erzisnisk, vice president and general manager, Latin America distribution, to support strategic global chain customers throughout Latin America.

In his expanded role, Spero will continue supporting sales growth throughout Latin America while taking ownership of the global Yum! Brands account. He will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability across strategic global accounts through customer partnership, account development and the execution of growth-focused sales strategies.

Spero also will continue collaborating with customers, business partners and internal teams to strengthen relationships and support long-term business success.

Spero joined Welbilt in 2008 as business development manager. In 2016, he was promoted to director, key accounts, leading key account growth and sales strategy initiatives across Latin America for Welbilt brands.
