Krystal Promotes Amanda Hyde to COO
Hyde, who has more than 20 years of restaurant industry experience, has helped guide the QSR brand’s recent growth.
Amanda Hyde has taken on the role of COO at Krystal. She most recently played a part in the leadership team at SPB Hospitality, which acquired Krystal in 2023. Hyde has helped guide Krystal’s turnaround and renewed growth strategy, a release states.
As COO, Hyde will further expand her leadership of Krystal’s restaurant operations, working with operators and franchise partners to drive performance, support continued development and maintain the brand’s focus on operational excellence. She’ll work with finance, human resources and other support teams to ensure alignment between restaurant operations and the systems that support them.
“Amanda is a respected operator with deep knowledge of the Krystal business and a strong track record of building high-performing teams,” says G.J. Hart, chairman and CEO of SPB Hospitality, who Hyde will report directly to. “Her leadership has been instrumental as we continue sharpening the brand’s operational focus and positioning Krystal for long-term growth.”
Krystal announced in January it would open its first unit in New Jersey. The brand also has mentioned nontraditional formats are a part of its growth strategy. Overall, the Atlanta-based brand operates in 13 states with nearly 300 restaurants.
