Sub Sandwich Chain Rebrands, Expands Reach
With an established footprint in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Pennsylvania, Penn Station is now branching out into North Carolina, South Carolina and Michigan.
Penn Station East Coast Subs has officially rebranded to Penn Station Sandwiches.
In conjunction with its new brand identity, the chain is working to expand its markets/store count and menu offerings alike.
“This next phase for Penn Station Sandwiches is about building on our legacy while embracing growth and innovation,” says Lance Vaught, president of Penn Station Sandwiches. “Our refreshed identity and menu expansion position us to compete more aggressively in the fast-casual space while continuing to deliver the quality our guests expect.”
As for expansion, Charlotte, N.C.-based franchisees are leading the brand’s expansion into Myrtle Beach, S.C.—a new market—after opening a new Kentucky location in March. The brand also has deals in the pipeline across Ohio, Kentucky and South Carolina.
On the menu side, customers can now find nine-grain sandwiches, wraps and bowls in addition to its longtime grilled hot and cold subs, plus summer LTOs like flavored lemonades.
Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Penn Station Sandwiches has more than 300 locations nationwide.
