At least 20 Dog Haus units are coming to Mexico, the brand announced Thursday, March 12.

The chain’s global expansion, in partnership with HAK Capital & Brand Management, will kick off this summer with a debut unit in Mérida, Yucatán. From there, Dog Haus plans to expand into Mexico City, Tijuana, the Riviera Maya and Monterrey over the next several years.

“Expanding into Mexico marks a major milestone for Dog Haus as we take the brand into a new country for the first time,” says Dog Haus CEO Michael Montagano. “We’re excited to partner with HAK Capital as we introduce the Dog Haus experience to a new market and take the next step in our international growth.”

This agreement comes as Dog Haus enters its 15th year of operation with its largest development pipeline to date, says the release.
