Chicken Salad Chick Moves Into 27th State
The unit opening this month is the first of 25 under the brand’s largest franchise development deal to date.
On Sept. 22, Chicken Salad Chick is set to make its debut in New York—its 27th state—in a franchise agreement spanning several cities.
The first new restaurant, located at 5 Southside Dr. in Clifton Park, will offer dine-in, takeout, third-party delivery and catering.
The same franchisee expects to open 24 additional units, with plans for Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and the Upper Hudson Valley areas. The agreement represents Chicken Salad Chick’s largest franchise development deal to date.
“Entering New York is a major milestone for Chicken Salad Chick. It represents tremendous growth potential for our brand, and we’re already seeing strong demand,” says Scott Deviney, CEO and president of Chicken Salad Chick. “This opening expands our footprint to 27 states and marks our fifth new state entry this year, following openings in Utah, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.”
Currently, Chicken Salad Chick has over 345 restaurants.
