Meet SHFM’s Newest Rising Stars

The scholarship program recognizes/rewards young professionals at member companies with a complimentary SHFM membership and free attendance to SHFM’s National Conference.

SHFM has announced its 2026-27 Rising Stars, consisting of 20 individuals from across the industry.

“SHFM recognizes the important role young professional members play in ensuring the continued success of SHFM in its mission to be a community of hospitality professionals that enhance workplace amenities and foodservice through education, networking and innovation,” notes the association.

This year’s class consists of:
Sam Euler (chair), director of talent acquisition & recruitment at HMG+
• Mina Aguero, district manager at Aramark
• Geri Embler, master sergeant at U.S. Marine Corps
• Lauren Hassinger, conference coordinator at Compass Group
• Destiny Isbilir, account manager at At Your Service Staffing
• Devon Johnston, experience presence coordinator at Cushman & Wakefield
• Emily Kaszuba, regional sales director at Canteen
• Ryan King, director of culinary operations at NOW Hospitality Group
• Ryan Meliker, district manager at Sodexo
• Hannah Montes, project manager for business intelligence at Corporate Dining
• Quico Munoz, senior food service coordinator at World Bank Group
• Krissy Nemeth, culinary R&D manager at Guckenheimer
• Christine Piccirillo, director of regional programs and projects at Restaurant Associates
