CFS Brands announced today it has completed the acquisition of Jofel Industrial, S.A., a multi-national company dedicated to the production, selling, and distribution of systems and equipment for professional hygiene and cleaning.

Based in Oklahoma City, Okla., CFS operates the brands Carlisle Foodservice Products, Dinex, San Jamar, El Castor, Piper, Sparta, Snap Drape, and Marko globally. It employs 1,400 people and has seven manufacturing facilities.

Founded in 1986, Jofel is headquartered in Alicante, Spain, and has additional manufacturing operations located in Puebla, Mexico. Their product line includes dispensers for towel, tissue, soap, and air freshener along with other products used in the washroom.

“Jofel is an outstanding company and is the perfect complement to our existing San Jamar line in terms of both products and geography,” Trent Freiberg, president and CEO of CFS Brands, said in a press release.

Luis Gomez Sierra, CEO of Jofel, stated, “By combining with CFS Brands, we see many opportunities to accelerate our growth globally, but especially in the U.S., Mexico, Latin America, and Europe. We are proud to join the CFS Brands family and look forward to working together.”

Jofel will remain as a stand-alone entity within CFS Brands. For the foreseeable future, both customers and suppliers will continue to interact with Jofel, Carlisle, and San Jamar as they have in the past.
