TriMark To Open New Dallas Warehouse

TriMark USA announced December 13 that it will open a new 211,000 sq.ft. free-trade zone (FTZ) warehouse adjacent to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. When it opens February 1, the new distribution facility will serve as the single point of destination for all of the company’s imported tabletop and smallwares products. The existing Dallas-area warehouse operations are expected to be in place at the new location by midyear.

“The new Dallas facility provides an opportunity to combine warehouse operations of two local TriMark divisions, TriMark R.W. Smith and TriMark Strategic, while significantly expanding capacity for each. The FTZ distinction enables us to dramatically increase the volume of imported products for the benefit of all TriMark divisions,” says Jerry Hyman, President and CEO of the South Attleboro, Mass., dealer. “This move helps us efficiently manage our recent growth and continue to exceed our customers’ expectations.”

With the new facility, TriMark—the country’s largest E&S dealer—will have more than 1.7 million sq.ft. of warehouse space in 32 locations nationwide.
