Industry Moves:

Michael J. Hawkins, an executive recruitment organization specializing in the janitorial and sanitation, foodservice supply and packaging industries, has hired Anthony Trombetta to manage its JanSan recruiting division. Trombetta has worked in the JanSan industry for most of his career, including 15 years as director of sales for ISSA, the industry’s trade association. MJH, based in Inverness, Ill., has been handled consulting in JanSan executive searches for more than 27 years.

Major changes at Velkey & Associates, the Flowood, Miss., rep firm. Mark Wolfe has become the firm’s Principal Owner. He takes the reins from Bob Velkey, who has retired and will serve in an advisory capacity for Marine Interior Systems and other selected accounts. Mickey Velkey will remain as office manager for a short transition period and will retire early this summer. Arkansas-based Willie Anderson will continue his coverage of that state and northern Louisiana; Rick Mason will continue covering Louisiana and southern Mississippi. Along with the change in ownership, there have been changes in the lines Velkey represents; the firm no longer represent Arctic Industries, Lowe Refrigeration or Erie Water, and has taken on representation of Master-Bilt Products.
