The American-style restaurant chain Hub Box has received £3.2 million (US$4m) worth of investment to open more sites across the UK.

The total investment from angel investors and a private equity fund will help the four-unit chain open more sites outside its base in Cornwall in southwest England. It will begin this spring with a former Las Iguanas site in Bristol.

The restaurants serve burgers, hot dogs and craft beers in St. Ives, Truro, St. Austell, Plymouth and Exeter.
