WC & Partners, Gastrotec Form Strategic Alliance

Gastrotec, S.p.a., the foodservice design consulting firm based in Santiago, Chile, has formed a strategic alliance with WC & Partners, an American foodservice consulting firm.

The agreement positions WC & Partners to continue its growth in Central and South America and to better serve clients in the Latin American market. In turn, it will support Gastrotec in a variety of ways, including production services. The two firms will work together on an exclusive basis to grow their businesses globally.

As a result of the arrangement, WC & Partners will now have a presence in nine cities throughout the world. The firm, helmed by principals William Caruso, Des Hague and Steve Young, is headquartered in Denver, with additional North American offices in Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Scottsdale, Arizona. It has European offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Athens and now, with the strategic alliance, Latin American offices in Santiago and San Salvador.

Gastrotec, founded by Bill Taunton in Santiago in 1998, has developed projects in virtually all of the countries of Latin America. Its El Salvador office, led by Juan Matamoros, FCSI, develops projects related to Management Advisory Services. “I am thrilled with the opportunities that this alliance will bring to our firm, but most of all being able to help our clients to get the best service and experience for their projects in the region,” states Taunton. “From now on, Latin American clients will be able to have local market knowledge but with a huge global experience.”
