No water hazards at this golf tournament. It was all about the water at Antunes’ annual golf outing last month, when the company raised $68,000 for its corporate charity partner Splash.

The August 25 event at St. Andrew’s Golf & Country Club in West Chicago raises money for Splash, a nonprofit organization that brings clean water to children throughout the world.

“This year, our golf outing generated a record amount for Splash, a feat that was made possible by the generosity and volunteering spirit of our sponsors and team members,” says Jane Antunes Bullock, v.p.-administration with the Carol Stream, Ill., manufacturer. “We are thrilled to present this donation to the organization and to continue to support them in their important work around the world.”

Over the years, Antunes’ annual golf outing has raised more than $215,000 to assist Splash in its efforts to provide access to clean water. The organization also has purchased and installed more than 1,140 Antunes water filtration systems that provide clean water to more than 400,000 people each day. More information is available at Antunes’ social responsibility page.
