Two dozen FEDA members will be jetting to Italy this month to attend one of Europe’s largest exhibits covering the foodservice, retail, hotel, and mass market sectors.

Dealers will join thousands of other industry professionals from around the world at the 40th edition of HOST Milano, October 20-24 in Milan. The association and the biennial show’s sponsors first teamed up for the exchange two years ago with the intention of boosting dealer members’ familiarity and contacts with the international market.

“The primary purpose of this partnership is to expand the knowledge and exposure to world markets in the foodservice equipment and supply industry,” says FEDA President Joe Schmitt. “The opportunity to participate in this global event is a significant benefit to our membership, as it gives those who participate the opportunity to spot global foodservice trends before they may be available to the U.S. market.”

HostMilano 2015 welcomed 2,010 exhibitors from more than 47 countries. This year’s edition will see more than 2,080 companies exhibiting their products and services, including 1,255 Italian and 826 international firms representing 51 countries.
