Alto-Shaam Beefs Up With New Staff

Alto-Shaam has made several new hires.

Bob Dellert has joined Alto-Shaam as V.P. of National Accounts-Foodservice in a role overseeing strategic development for chain account growth, focusing on the new Vector Multi-Cook Oven the company acquired in January from Appliance Innovation. Dellert had been senior director of strategic accounts at Appliance Innovation.

Tim Murphy, who had been field marketing specialist at Appliance Innovation, joins Alto-Shaam as a Product Specialist. He’ll assist with startups and conduct rep group trainings and support demand creation initiatives for the Vector Oven, which he helped develop. Murphy previously held management positions with Aramark, Compass and Marriott International.

The Menomonee Falls, Wis., company also has welcomed back industry veteran Kari Fulton as V.P. of National Accounts-Retail to evaluate market opportunities, develop account strategies, and communicate and implement sales plans. Fulton most recently was a regional sales manager for a walk-in cooler manufacturer where she handled dealer networks and direct sales in various segments.

In addition, John Gruver has been named Senior Regional Culinary Manager-Northeast. Gruver, a former executive chef, will focus on education, solution development, and product specifications.
