Traulsen, Hobart Kick Off Third K-12 “Save Your Kitchen” Contest

For the third year running, Traulsen is giving K-12 schools in the 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., the chance to “roll the dice” in a series of kitchen equipment giveaways and win one of four pieces of equipment from Traulsen’s school lunch line. And, for the first time, Hobart is joining in by offering opportunities to win one of three pieces of Hobart food prep equipment as well as a chance to win a door-style dishwasher.

East Limestone High School in Athens, Ala., was chosen randomly last month during National School Breakfast Week as the year’s first winner; the school chose Traulsen’s A-Series Roll-In unit. The remaining drawings include two jackpots on May 6 in honor of School Lunch Hero Day; three jackpots on July 20 after the close of SNA’s Annual National Conference in Las Vegas; and two giveaways on October 19 to close out National School Lunch Week.
