Jerry Maahs Golf Outing Marks 10th Year

Registration has opened for the 10th annual Jerry Maahs Memorial Golf Outing at Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex, Wis. The August 11 event supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and is named for Jerry Maahs, the founder of Alto-Shaam. Maahs passed away from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2006.

Since 2009, the golf outing and a matching donation from Alto-Shaam have raised $620,000 to support a research grant dedicated to advancing blood cancer treatments. The event begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11. Those interested in participating may register here.
