Smart Care Equipment Solutions has appointed Scott Pettit to the role of Chief Financial Officer as the St. Paul, Minn., company plans for further strategic growth and anticipated acquisitions over the next few years. Pettit will lead Smart Care’s financial team and assist with the execution of the company’s strategic growth initiative. He joins the leadership team following the acquisition in June of Alabama-based REMCO, a regional leader in equipment repair and service, and ahead of intended acquisitions, which will help meet the company’s goal of doubling in size within the next three to five years. Most recently he held senior financial roles at Insurance Auto Auctions and Fenix Parts.

Kitchens To Go built by Carlin has welcomed Michael J. Morgan as an Account Executive. Morgan will oversee the northeast region for the Naperville, Ill., maker of mobile and modular kitchens, supporting client acquisition, qualification, and development. He joins the KTG team with more than 25 years of progressive experience in the foodservice equipment and HVAC industries, primarily with sales management, product management, and local manufacturer’s representation. Most recently Morgan was with CaptiveAire Systems as sales development manager. He also serves as chair of ASHRAE’s Technical Committee Commercial Kitchen Ventilation (TC 5.10).

KPS Global, the Fort Worth, Texas, maker of insulated panel systems, has named Dave Walker as Strategic Accounts Manager. Walker has 20 years of experience in account management, including tenure at KPS as an inside sales estimator, account manager for dealers and large supermarket chains, and team lead for all West Coast supermarket chains.

Master-Bilt has hired industry veteran Rodney Johnson as its Regional Sales Manager covering the northeastern United States and eastern Canada; he’s responsible for managing seven manufacturer representative groups in the region. Johnson has more than 30 years of sales management experience including tenure as president of The HGA Group and, most recently, as v.p. of sales-Midwest for Acosta Sales and Marketing, where he led national sales and marketing company in retail food, commercial foodservice and equipment industries.
