HOTELEX Shanghai Welcomes Nearly 160,000 Visitors

HOTELEX Shanghai 2019 wrapped up four busy—and crowded—days at the Shanghai New International Expo Center on April 4.

The show, now in its 28^th year, included 2,567 domestic and overseas exhibitors from Italy, Spain, the United States, Germany, Japan, and other countries displaying catering equipment, tableware, supplies, and food products across 230,000 m² of exhibiting space.

During its four days, 159,267 professional buyers, distributors and agents visited the exhibition, an increase of nearly 9% over the same period of last year. Visitors were from 123 countries and regions around the world, including 7,502 overseas visitors, a 46% jump from 2018.

Seven professional forums spotlighting operation strategies and 19 industry events and performances were held during HOTELEX, along with a series of competitions spanning everything from coffee roasting and brewing championships, to the title of “Shanghai Pizza master.”
