AyrKing Expands Engineering Team

The mechanical engineers will develop components and systems for food prep machinery.

AyrKing has expanded its engineering team. Alex Baker and Rushi Bhakta have taken the role of Mechanical Engineer I at the food prep equipment manufacturer.

In their new role, Baker and Bhakta will be responsible for designing, developing and testing mechanical components and systems for food prep machinery. They’ll ensure the systems meet performance, safety and regulatory standards while optimizing efficiency and durability for commercial kitchen environments.

Baker brings more than 20 years of experience in mechanical systems, maintenance and equipment repair to the role. He previously served AyrKing as an engineering intern. An Army combat veteran originally from Ohio, Baker earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from East Coast Polytechnic Institute.

Bhakta brings AyrKing experience from his work in the Additive Manufacturing Institute of Science and Technology lab at the University of Louisville, where he graduated. He also served as an intern with AyrKing.

AyrKing is based in Louisville, Ky., and is part of CFS Brands, which includes Carlisle FoodService Products, San Jamar, Winco, plus more companies.
