BSE has promoted Joe Niedzwiecki to general manager, making him the first non-family member to serve in the position. In his new expanded role, he will be responsible for day-to-day operations while continuing in his current role as director of BSE North.

Niedzwiecki, who joined BSE in 2021, previously served as president of Food Equipment Rep Services, a manufacturers’ representative firm in MAFSI Region 2, where he had worked since 2005. He has approximately 37 years of experience in the foodservice industry.

“Joe possesses the skills to help BSE both on the business (relationships) and in the business, with his ability to manage people, implement systems and oversee the administrative disciplines throughout BSE,” says BSE President Jeff Hessel.

In addition, the company now is representing Resfab in MAFSI Regions 2, 3, 4 and 5 (Upstate New York, New York Metro, Greater Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic). Founded in 1983, Resfab is a manufacturer of foodservice equipment, including ventless fryers, fryers, hot food cases, warmers and more.

BSE represents more than 30 product lines with 16 sales team members, seven chefs and six distribution specialists.
