Burkett Golf Outing Raises $37K to Fight MS

The outing drew participants from across the country to raise funds and honor the dealership’s founder.

Burkett Restaurant Equipment & Supplies hosted its annual Mike Burkett Memorial Golf Outing in Perrysburg, Ohio. The event raised $37,555 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. As of press time, the society was seeking a matching gift partner to double the impact of the outing before the final donation is presented.

The event honors Mike Burkett, the dealership’s founder, who passed away in 2021 after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.

Since becoming a memorial fundraiser in 2021, the outing has generated more than $137,000 for the NMSS, which works to cure MS and empower those living with the disease to live their best lives.
