The shape of EMC Hospitality’s team in southern California is changing, as a quartet of personnel updates take hold.
Here are the details:
- Nick Hodak has been elevated to the role of equipment sales manager for southern California and Las Vegas. Hodak, who’s worked in the foodservice industry for 18 years, caught leadership’s attention after EMC Hospitality acquired Hodak Sales, where Nick worked alongside his father, Roy Hodak. “Nick has demonstrated a special ability to train and empower the EMC equipment, hospitality and dealer teams, growing knowledge and sales skills through all divisions,” says Chris Cuffari, the reps’ managing partner in southern California. “Nick has a great way with people and strength in building a team and working with others. In addition, Nick’s technical understanding of equipment helps educate and consult with our end user customers, dealers and designers.”
- Stacie Rauch joins the company as a culinary specialist and equipment territory manager. Rauch brings an extensive culinary background to her new role, as she has worked as both a chef and restaurant manager. Most recently, she was with a large countertop equipment manufacturer as its regional chef specialist.
- Jessica Sandoval has been hired as a hospitality consultant, covering the west side of Los Angeles. She will primarily call on hotels, resorts, restaurant chains and other hospitality accounts. Sandoval has experience in hospitality, previously working in banqueting equipment sales for the west coast of North and South America.
- Lastly, Natalie Stevens has been hired as a rooms consultant, joining EMC’s newly formed rooms division, which will showcase manufacturers directly related to hotel room operations. Stevens has over 10 years of hospitality experience and previously worked with luxury hotel properties around the western United States. “Natalie’s business acumen and experience are just what we need as we launch this new division within the company,” says Amy Hoyle, partner in southern California. “Her drive for excellence paired with her desire to learn everything she can about the business as a whole and the manufacturers we represent will be the base of what I know is going to be a long and successful career for her here at EMC.”
EMC serves the entire west coast (California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii) in the hospitality channel and represents manufacturers of smallwares, tabletop and buffet items, furniture and equipment.
