Earlier this month, frozen-dessert machine maker Carpigiani welcomed Robert Delach as its director of chain solution development.

In the role, he will assist in overall support and lead Carpigiani’s global effort to develop and align strategic key account plans, with a focus on major QSR chains.

Delach has 11 years of industry experience. For nine years, beginning in 2007, he was based in Shanghai as general manager/vice president of sales in China for the Taylor Co., leading its sales and service operations there; from 2016 to 2018, Delach was Taylor’s vice president of sales EMEA.

“I am thrilled to join the Carpigiani family and to work collaboratively across multiple time zones,” says Delach. “I’m excited to help lead and drive the goal of growing the QSR chain business across North America for Carpigiani North America.”

Penny Klingler, president of Carpigiani North America, says the brand is confident Delach will continue its “strong momentum in the market based on his extensive background, expertise and leadership approach, which align with [Carpigiani’s] strategic focus on innovation, education and global partnerships.”
