Carpigiani Names Director of Operations

Carpigiani North America has appointed Rod Meirelles as director of operations.

Meirelles brings to the role over 10 years of leadership experience in operations, including more than seven years in senior positions.

“Throughout his career, Rod has successfully led high-volume, regulated manufacturing environments by improving throughput, optimizing supply chains, and empowering teams to perform at their best,” the company states.

In his new role at Carpigiani, Meirelles will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations. He’ll report directly to Penny Klingler, president of Carpigiani North America.

Last week, Carpigiani announced it had named Chris Yarbrough as senior accounting supervisor.
