Carpigiani Scoops Up New Director of After Sales Services

Carpigiani North America, a manufacturer of gelato, ice cream and soft-serve equipment, has added a cherry on top of its team with the hiring of Corey Burns as the director of after sales services.

Burns, CFSP, will be responsible for the Ali Group company’s after sales strategy and deployment and will work closely with the team to strengthen the service and parts operations while driving operational improvements and customer satisfaction.

“Corey brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in after sales management and building support systems to improve customer satisfaction. We are looking forward to having him join the Carpigiani team as we accelerate our growth in the U.S. through our new manufacturing facility in High Point,” says Penny Klingler, president of Carpigiani North America, in a press release.

Burns comes with over 24 years of commercial foodservice industry experience focused on service operations, sales, new product innovation, product management, strategy development and manufacturing.

And this isn’t his first go-around with Ali Group. Burns previously worked for Burlodge USA, another Ali Group company. He’s also worked for Standex Foodservice, Welbilt, TriMark, MVP Group and Caspers Service Company.

Burns will report to Klingler.
