CHEF’STORE Climbs Toward 100 Locations

The latest round of development plans also bring the brand to one new state.

US Foods expects to open five new CHEF’STORE locations in the second half of this year.

The warehouse-format stores—which offer restaurant equipment, janitorial supplies, produce, meat and more—will be located in Sandy Springs, Ga.; Beaverton, Ore.; Hickory, N.C; Hampton, Va.; and Virginia Beach, Va. Notably, the new Beaverton store will be the 22nd location in Oregon and the Sandy Springs will be the first in Georgia.

Once it opens the five new locations, US Foods will have a network of more than 95 CHEF’STORE locations across 14 states—a significant uptick from three years ago, when only six locations existed.

“We are thrilled to enhance our store footprint into new areas of the country where we can serve existing and new customers with exceptional value and service, and a vast selection of competitively priced restaurant-quality products and supplies,” says Irfan Badibanga, president of CHEF’STORE, in a Feb. 20 press release. “Our continued growth plans support our commitment to serving independent restaurant owners, foodservice operators and community members with the products they need, exactly when they need them.”

CHEF’STORE is open to the public seven days a week, with no membership required.
