Chick-fil-A announced last week its plans to launch in the U.K. in early 2025.

The QSR brand earlier this year outlined intentions to open restaurants in Europe and Asia by 2026 and five international locations by 2030. This U.K. expansion marks the first permanent store outside of North America.

Chick-fil-A currently has more than 2,800 restaurants across the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada, with the company having plans to open five restaurants in the U.K. in the first two years and expand across the country.

Among the key facts and figures, Chick-fil-A lists its plans to invest over $100 million in the next 10 years. It also says it will source all chicken from the U.K. and Ireland, as well as free-range eggs and welfare certification.

In other global news this month, P.F. Chang’s officially landed in India and Firehouse Subs announced plans to open 100-plus units in the Middle East.
