Don Appoints Design Veteran to Leadership Role

Edward Don & Company has appointed George Federighi as senior designer and business development leader for its Don Build division.

Federighi brings more than 50 years of experience to the role. He started out at Federighi Food Machinery Co. as a service technician, and later worked alongside his father on early warewashing prototypes and kitchen innovations, a release details. In the early 1990s, he founded the design-build firm Federighi Design.

In 2012, TriMark USA acquired Federighi Design, becoming TriMark Federighi Design. After more than a decade with the organization, Federighi decided to part ways in June and reconnected with Charlie Fusari, vice president of the Don Build division at Edward Don & Company.

“George is a San Francisco Bay Area and industry icon, having led kitchen and bar design and installations for many of the top chefs and culinary brands for over 40 years,” says Fusari, who has known Federighi for more than 25 years.
